I flew alone with my daughter a lot so I didn’t have anyone else to help me juggle her, especially when she was a baby. I bought this gadget thinking it would help on the plane. At least I could free up a hand if I didn’t have to hold on to the jar while I was feeding her. It was hard enough keeping her upright long enough to get a jar down.
For some reason, it doesn’t stick to the tray table or the center console (in business class). I tried it on 2 airlines before I declared it a waste. The spoon is a good shape so we at least used that after I gave it away the jar ring. I didn’t have a high chair for her to use it on since we pushed our Stokke Tripp Trapp up to the dining room table. It is supposed to stick to a regular high chair tray.
It wasn’t very expensive, thankfully at around $10. But if you think you might try it on the airplane (and think you’re a genius for thinking of it), don’t bother. It’s one less thing to pack.
